Review: Faceup Web Marketing ebook
I recently won a copy of Faceup Web Marketing ebook on vBulletinSetup. The first thing that struck me after having downloaded the ebook was how small it was in length, only 73 pages!
While the book size is small, it does have quite a bit of information in it and the initial chapters were quite interesting, especially the part about keyword research and the methodical approach Adam McFarland (the author) takes while researching for keywords.
However the information presented in the later half of the book is a bit raw and can become a bit boring. Add to this the chapters don’t really have that distinct end and start that one would expect from a book i.e. they start and end too abruptly, and often one can’t understand where one ended and the other began.
It might just be me, but I felt they were just different blog posts copied and presented in the form of an ebook. Frankly I felt the author should have taken help of a professional copywriter/editor to ensure that no such issue existed and the ebook didn’t look like just raw information and was interesting to read.
